Market Doctor International Women’s Day in Ipaja, Lagos, March 2023

The theme for International Women’s Day 2023 is “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality”. The theme aims to highlight the need for inclusive and transformative technology and digital education, as well as the challenges and opportunities that the digital revolution presents for women’s rights and empowerment. It also celebrates women and girls who are leading the way in developing and using innovative and technological solutions to advance gender equality in various fields. To commemorate this, Market Doctors, in partnership with Opic International, carried out free eye screening for all their female workers, free eyeglasses and medications were given as prescribed by the doctor, and participants also received health education on ways to maintain good eye health and general wellness.
